Client's Vision:

Esteemed Armenian artists Avo Khalatyan and Nune Esayan sought to create a summer residence and art studio that would serve as both a sanctuary for relaxation and a space for artistic creation. Their vision was to design a home where they could gather with friends and family, and also use it as Avo's art studio.

Design Concept:

Our design approach prioritizes function, aesthetics, and creative freedom for the residents.

On the first floor, we designed two distinct relaxation zones. One features a classic TV area with a traditional furniture layout, offering comfort and structure. The other, near large windows overlooking the garden, includes a fireplace and floor poufs, creating a relaxed, informal space for unwinding or casual gatherings.

Avo's art studio takes full advantage of its high ceilings and large windows, making it an ideal painting space. An open wall provides an unobstructed view of artworks, while a transformer table can be used when needed or folded away to clear the space. A lofted area holds a bed and office desk, creating a quiet retreat, while a compact kitchen and mini bar near the entrance ensure convenience without disrupting the creative flow.

This design balances creativity with comfort, offering both inspiration and a place to recharge.
