Client's Vision:

Microsoft Innovation Center Armenia supports the local community by fostering the growth of competitive and successful startups. They needed a refreshed space that integrates education, administrative work, and leisure.

Challenges & Solutions:

The existing space featured a long, narrow corridor that lacked natural light, making the environment feel confined and uninspiring. To improve flow and openness, we reimagined the corridor layout, replacing its rigid rectangular form with a more fluid, curved design that expands at the end, creating a sense of openness. To enhance natural light, we introduced glass partitions, allowing daylight to penetrate deeper into the space and creating a more inviting atmosphere.

Design Concept:

For the main design, we applied microcement flooring over the existing tiles for a seamless, modern look, while white walls were chosen to visually expand the space. At the entrance, we designed a curved amphitheater-style staircase, providing a multifunctional area for gatherings and events.

To bring energy and function to the space, we incorporated colorful, purpose-driven furniture, with each piece reflecting the unique needs of different areas within the center. The result is a dynamic, flexible environment that fosters creativity, collaboration, and innovation.
