Client's Vision:

The goal was to design a stylish and functional rental unit tailored for a small family. The layout needed to include a master bedroom and a versatile second room that could serve as a child’s bedroom or a home office.

Challenges & Solutions:

One of the main design challenges was the apartment’s elongated rectangular shape, with windows only on the shorter side, limiting natural light. To optimize brightness and spatial flow:

• We introduced a low, curved partition (1.5m height) near the entrance to subtly separate the kitchen while maintaining an open, airy feel.

• A small multi-purpose room was added between the bathroom and master bedroom, featuring a glazed partition (from 2.1m height) to bring in natural light without compromising privacy.

Design Concept:

The apartment features a light, neutral base, allowing statement furniture and curated decor to stand out—creating a unique and Instagrammable space. Nearly all furniture pieces are iconic designer selections, including the Eero Saarinen dining table, Flos Arco floor lamp, and Vitra Akari lamps, giving the interior a refined yet playful personality.

This rental is not just a place to stay—it’s an experience.
